Hair Growth Stimulants Toxic To Pets

A Sydney cat went into heart failure after licking its owner's scalp. With prompt veterinary care, the cat survived.

The owner had applied a hair-growth stimulant to treat his baldness before the cat licked his head, thus ingesting some of the drug.
