Petfood Recall in North America

Recently 60 million cans/pouches of petfood produced in a Canadian factory have been recalled. Some products were found to contain a drug called aminopterin, which can be harmful to pets if they ingest a large amount. Luckily the pet food was recalled before any reached New Zealand stores. Pets will start vomiting 1-2 hours after eating contaminated food, and will need to be treated by a vet as soon as possible.
